The film is based the true story of , a stockbroker of Wall Street. Starting with a brokerage firm in the early 1990s, together with his partner Donny Azoff, Belfort grows the company greatly with more than 250 staffs, leading him become “the Wolf of Wall Street”. However, Belfort and Azoff may not be able to maintain their fortune and the luxurious lifestyles when the FBI tracks down the evidence of defrauding investors of their company.
